The audio rack construction is near the end, what following after the final glue up is repetitive brushing, sanding, rubbing and brushing of layers of varnish. Nothing more painful than watching oil varnish cures…
First layer of oil varnish. It is especially troublesome in the winter of Northeast, either I could have higher temperature in the workshop but restricted air flow or I could have more air flow but low temperature. I chose to sacrifice air flow to maintain heat.
After multiple layers and many days later
Few more thin coats and after a tedious homemade wax rubbing, it is completed!
